The Japanese games magazine DENGEKI asked 71 Japanese game creators to name their favourite game of 2010. The winner of this survey: HEAVY RAIN.

HEAVY RAIN reigns at BAFTA awards

Heavy Rain was the big winner at the video game Baftas, picking up three awards. The film noir-inspired murder-mystery won best story, original music and technical innovation. But the best game title went to Mass Effect 2. The Bafta fellowship was awarded to Populous creator Peter Molyneux. Two of the most nominated games, Call of Duty: Black Ops, and Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, picked up just one award each.
